How to choose a loose powder brush

Which material is good for loose powder brush
Among all makeup brushes, the preciousness of fur is ranked in the following order: mink fur, squirrel fur (including Canadian squirrel fur, grey rat fur, blue bellied rat fur, etc.), horsehair, wool, and fiber fur. There is no such thing as good or bad, it depends on what kind of makeup you need:
1. If you like natural and soft makeup, or if your skin is sensitive and fragile, then choosing soft bristles is better. The first choice is gray mouse fur, followed by high-quality horsehair. Due to the soft and elastic bristles, the powder grabbing ability is relatively weak. Therefore, each time you take a lot of powder, it is easy to grasp when coloring. Brushing a small amount on your face can achieve a very natural blending effect.
2. If you need a makeup look with strong and bright colors, and the makeup technology is OK, you can choose a slightly hard powder blusher brush. This powder blusher brush has a lot of powder, accurate color range, and fast makeup application. It has a high requirement for grasping the position and shape of powder blusher. You can choose a coarse glossy sheep wool, and many brands of nylon fiber brushes have good quality. The fiber brush is characterized by easy maintenance, moderate hardness and elasticity of the brush hair. As for the bristles of the medium and fine light tips, they are slightly softer and not much different, both made of wool.
3. The loose powder bristles of grey squirrel fur are soft and have a good touch, making them suitable for people with sensitive skin. The disadvantage is that their ability to grip powder is slightly weaker, and they are much more delicate than goat hair. And if the gray squirrel hair brush is not used for a long time, it must be washed clean and placed in a dry place, otherwise it is easy to be eaten by insects.

How to clean loose powder brush
The cleaning of loose powder brushes is generally carried out using warm water scrubbing solution. The specific cleaning method is as follows:
1. Soak the bristles (be careful not to touch the mouth of the brush and the junction of the bristles with water), with the bristles facing downwards.
2. Pour out the washing water onto your palm and gently push it out along the direction of the bristles with your fingertips.
3. Slowly wash until all traces of cosmetics are completely removed, and then rinse thoroughly with water.
4. After washing, place a towel or tissue on the table to absorb moisture, tidy up the bristles, and then air dry in a cool place.
5. After drying, gently rub the bristles with your hands and use your fingers to bounce them back to their fluffy state. A brush that is temporarily unused can be inserted upside down into a bottle (or bag).

Precautions for cleaning powder brush
1. To air dry naturally, do not use a hair dryer or place it in the sun to dry, otherwise it may damage the material; After washing it clean, you can also soak it in hair care lotion to make the bristles softer.
2. Do not wash to the brush handle connection. The connection is in contact with the wooden handle and difficult to dry, which can easily cause looseness. The brush should not be wet when covering the mouth and parts.
3. Be sure to clean along the direction of hair growth, otherwise it will damage the hair quality.
How to choose honey paint
1. Judging from the touch, a good honey powder brush bristles should have a soft and smooth texture, with a tight and full structure.
2. Pinch the bristles with your fingers and gently comb them down to check if they have come off.
3. A good brush should have a natural solitary shape at the end of the hair peak, rather than being manually trimmed. Therefore, when choosing a brush, if there are traces of trimmed hair peaks, it indicates poor quality.
4. Gently press the brush on the back of your hand, draw a semicircle, and check if the bristles are neat.
5. Use a hair dryer to blow the bristles with hot air, keeping them in their original state as animal hair. The curly bristles are made of synthetic fibers.
