A complete guide to how to use and clean eyebrow brushes

What are the types of eyebrow brushes
1. Diagonal eyebrow brush
Fine eyebrow shapes can be drawn, divided into two types: hard bristled eyebrow brushes and soft bristled eyebrow brushes. Soft eyebrow brush is used to dip powdered eyebrow cosmetics, and can also be used to paint eyeliner after spraying wet brush hair. The hard bristled eyebrow brush is used to apply wax like eyebrow cosmetics, with clear and natural eyebrow color.
2. Spiral eyebrow brush
The spiral eyebrow brush has two functions: one is to brush off excess eyebrow powder on the eyebrows, and the other is to brush away clumps on the eyelashes.
3. Dual purpose eyebrow brush
The dual-purpose eyebrow brush consists of a row of toothbrush shaped eyebrow brushes and eyelash combs. The eyebrow brush is generally made of synthetic fibers, high-grade pig bristles, or high-quality stone badger hair. The bristles are moderately soft and hard, making it easy to shape the eyebrows and avoid scattering, suitable for natural eyebrow shapes.
4. Hard eyebrow brush
It can straighten out the eyebrow movement and make the messy growth of eyebrows conform smoothly. The technique is to comb horizontally from the brow to the end of the eyebrow upwards. Soft eyebrow brush is generally used to apply eyebrow powder, and can also sweep away excess eyebrow powder to make the eyebrow color blend naturally.

Complete Guide to Cleaning Eyebrow Brushes
1. Soap cleaning method
Wet a piece of soap in clean water, rub your dirty powder blusher brush and foundation make-up brush on the soap, press and rotate while pressing to clean the dirt. Then rinse the brush clean with warm water, and dry it with a piece of tissue.
Tip: Do not let the brush stick get wet, otherwise it may cause the bristles of the brush to become loose and fall off.
2. Cleaning method with detergent
Pour a little dishwashing detergent onto the sponge, use a brush to repeatedly scrub the sponge several times, rinse with warm water, use a clean towel or cotton cloth to wipe off any remaining dirt, and then lay the brush flat to dry.
3. Olive oil cleaning method
Because both eye and lip makeup contain oil, and oil is miscible, olive oil is very suitable for cleaning small eye and lip makeup brushes. In addition, olive oil has a softening and maintenance effect on bristles. Coat the bristles of the eyebrow brush with olive oil, then press it onto a sponge to wipe it off. Soon, you will see the remaining makeup clumps in the brush falling off.
